Boxing Day Sales

Hello Lovelies,

Being the dedicated shopper that I am, I dragged myself out of bed at 8am Boxing Day and tootled off into Leeds City Centre to brave the sales. Boy o' boy am I glad I did:)

Not only did I get to spend (too much) of my Christmas money, I also managed to pick up a few things I really wouldn't have expected to buy. (I may also have picked up a few cheeky 'non sale' items :P *oops*)

I'll start with the beauty related items as I feel this may interest you most.

My first stop was LUSH, equipped with the £15 voucher from my parents. I was so excited to find all of the Christmas gifts and products 50% off. I picked up a £35 box containing 12 things, for only £17! Amazing right?

It's called the 12 days of Christmas.

All of the products smell delicious, there isn't even the usual 'not as nice as the rest' suspect.

I also picked up an extra Cinders bath bomb :)

My Second stop was Harvey Nichols (with my £20 voucher) to visit the MAC counter. There was no sale on here, but I haven't been to MAC in ages so picked up a few items that the makeup artist (who was amazing) recommended. Everywhere else in the store was madness though, I'm talking middle aged women fighting over PRADA handbags crazy :')

I then went to Superdrug and picked up one of the Rimmel lipsticks from the Kate Moss collection and two new nail polishes.

My surprise item of the trip was actually an extra Christmas gift from my mother. I've been in need of some sturdy winter boots for a really long time as my current boots are starting to deteriorate after three loving years. I decided to go for something a little different this time. Take a look at these beauties...

How frickin' cute are they!! Now I know many people will hate these, but they are honestly so so versatile and incredibly girly of course. Its amazing how many things they go with (post soon.)

I also found these cute (slightly less daring boots) in the sale at new look for £30 (down from £70) and thought they were amazing quality for the price.

I also picked up a new handbag(pictured with docs) for £6 and an adorable jewellery stand from NEXT for £4.

This jewellery stand was originally £10 and I have been eyeing it up for ages, but could not justify the price. I jumped at the chance to buy it in the sales XD. It looks so beautiful with my earrings displayed on the mantle piece :)

That was a very long post.

It seems I went a little mad on the shopping front ;)

Hello Lovelies,

As you may remember, I received LUSH cinders bath ballistic from the wonderful boyfriend for Christmas and I must say, YUMMY!! :D

It is such a lovely cinnamony/spicey/warm/sensual fragrance. I want another one :( Why must you only sell it at Christmas!! Whyyyy!!

This wonderful sphere of spice hit my bathtub and fizzed and crackled like a hot winter's fire (which I think is the point.) It filled my bathroom in a warm haze of cinnamon and soothed my poor aching limbs from the previous nights party ;) 

After the bruises and dented New Year's Pride I vowed never to dance again...I lied. haha.

I highly recommend this, as you may have noticed and I truly wish it was sold all year round.

But Hey, its something to look forward to :)

Shock Horror!! I just went to check the lush site to make sure Cinder's was discontinued(it is), only to discover their website has been hacked!

I'm sure I'm way out of the loop with this as apparently it's been a while, but I hope they catch the b**tards :')

Moving away from profanities, I hope your all having a wonderful January. I only have 1 exam left and I'm free to blog to my hearts content. so I'll see you sooooon!!

Boy's Can Be Lovely When They Want To Be :)

Hello Lovelies,

I just thought I'd write a quick blog post on what my gorgeous boyfriend Stanley bought me for Christmas.

I had no idea what to expect from him as I hadn't particularly asked for anything (apart from a CD with all of his songs on, that he cheekily tried to include as a 'present':P) but overall he did rather well. I'm so proud aha:)

Anyway I thought some of the things would be of interest to you all as they are from LUSH.:D

First up is Cinders Bath Ballistic

He had absolutely no idea I wanted to try this one so he (or the sales assistant) did very well..

It smells absolutely delicious and has filled my whole room with its lovely scent. I can't wait to try this one out.

Next he bought me Vanilla Fountain Bath Ballistic, which is one of my favourites. It turns the bath a rather strange yellow colour but the scent of vanilla and sandalwood certainly make up for it.

The last thing from lush was Karma Komba Shampoo Bar.

I've never actually tried one of their Shampoo Bars before and the first thing he said when I opened it was 'I didn't even know you could get shampoo in a bar, its weird, that's why I bought it' :')

It smells lovely though and makes me want to have a shower right now. However, I think i may have to nip into lush and buy a tin for it as i don't want it to go all mushy :)

The last thing I got was the cutest little magnetic bookmarks EVER. They are little mushrooms!!! So cute :) Then again I love anything and everything from Paperchase.

I hope to do a review on Cinders bath bomb very very soon.
