Slow and Steady Wins the Race

And so the MAC palette returns...

As you may remember, I wrote a post about the severe lack of eyeshadows in by MAC 15 pro pan palette. I had the beautiful colour Woodwinked sitting in there all alone feeling very lost and I couldn't bare risking de potting my other colours. Now, I am pleased to say he has not one, but two new friends!!

These frosty, shimmery friends come in the form of All that Glitter's and Satin Taupe. I can safely say I am in love.

I bought these shadows on two separate occasions but decided to put them all together for today's post.

All that Glitters- I bought this due to the insane hype around it on youtube channels and blogs everywhere. Yes, I gave into peer pressure and I am rather glad that I did too. It is a beautiful rich shimmery light bronze, that applies smoothly and wears really well. Very pleased indeed.

Satin Taupe- Surprisingly, this is actually my favourite out of the three. It is a gorgeous, medium brown with a beautiful frost too it. Definitely a good crease colour. My new staple.

Liz Earle? Who's She?

Now I know nearly everyone in the beauty blogging/youtube world knows something or other about Liz Earles Brand. However, I can safely say that before I had started blogging I hadn't got a clue who she was. Boy was I missing out.

Any Guesses what I bought??

But of course... Hot Cloth Cleanser.

I must say, it was a lovely experience in their Leeds boutique. The staff were really helpful and friendly, plus I got a free little toner sample thrown in!! Considering I was about to buy the full size before trying it, this seriously saved me some money. All in all a wonderful time was had.

Gotta love it :P

I am aware that there are a million reviews on this little gem as it truly is the staple of her range. This in mind, I don't think I'm going to do a review on it, other than to say I love it :)

However, if you would like me to bore you with details do let me know and I'll be happy to review it. Otherwise, you've probably seen/heard it all before.

Sucker for Storage?

Today I went for a lovely stroll about Leeds City Centre after my LAST EXAM to celebrate :) I can't believe that after a month of no social life and 9 exams it is finally over. Party this weekend? :D 

As all of my friends are still doing exams I thought I would sit down and write about some of the lovely things I bought today with my Christmas money. I didn't brave the sales earlier this month which I am actually rather pleased about. It would have been waayyy too chaotic for my liking.

Now I am a total sucker for Stationary, Storage , pretty much anything to do with organization. ESPECIALLY Paperchase. My God I could live in that shop haha. I cannot walk by without waltzing on in to have a gander. So you can imagine the sheer delight on my face as I realised they had new prints amd collections in. Including a rather lovely bunch of organizational beauties. I just couldn't resist this...

I bought this to store makeup bits and bobs. It's the perfect size for things like eyeliner and eyeshadow's. I'm so excited to fill it up with junk!! (junk meaning obsessively tidy.)

I'm planning to do a 'tour' of my dressing table set up soon so you may be seeing this little box in use in the near future. I cannot get over just how cute it is. It has a beautiful pattern and was only £9.00. For 4 draws that's not bad in my eyes. Then again, i'll spend anything in paperchase.:P

Snap,Crackle,Pop

Hello Lovelies,

As you may remember, I received LUSH cinders bath ballistic from the wonderful boyfriend for Christmas and I must say, YUMMY!! :D

It is such a lovely cinnamony/spicey/warm/sensual fragrance. I want another one :( Why must you only sell it at Christmas!! Whyyyy!!

This wonderful sphere of spice hit my bathtub and fizzed and crackled like a hot winter's fire (which I think is the point.) It filled my bathroom in a warm haze of cinnamon and soothed my poor aching limbs from the previous nights party ;) 

After the bruises and dented New Year's Pride I vowed never to dance again...I lied. haha.

I highly recommend this, as you may have noticed and I truly wish it was sold all year round.

But Hey, its something to look forward to :)

Shock Horror!! I just went to check the lush site to make sure Cinder's was discontinued(it is), only to discover their website has been hacked!

I'm sure I'm way out of the loop with this as apparently it's been a while, but I hope they catch the b**tards :')

Moving away from profanities, I hope your all having a wonderful January. I only have 1 exam left and I'm free to blog to my hearts content. so I'll see you sooooon!!

Yet another NOTD...

Hey Everyone :)

So I'm really swamped with revision for my 9!!! A level exams this month. It feels evil just writing that number aha. Hence why I haven't been posting much..
Anyway as I am taking a nice long break I thought I'd do a quick NOTD from the lovely collection I received for Christmas.

This is the colour Culford Gardens and although Christmas and New Years is over, there is no harm in a little shimmer to brighten the day :)

Hope you like it, I would say out of all the shimmery colours in this set this is a firm favourite.

Nail OOTNY aha :)

Hello Lovelies,

So if you managed to work out my little  acronym, this is a swatch/nail of the evening for the the rather eventful New Years party I went to.

It is the first swatch of the Nails Inc. Collection I received for Christmas. It is in the beautiful glittery colour Egerton Gardens and I love it!! 

 Definitely New Years appropriate :).

I didn't manage to take a picture of what I wore, but if I can find a not so embarassing one of me at the party i'll be sure to post it :D
